School Uniform
It is expected that all students wear the regulated school uniform and wear it correctly. If for some reason a student is not in uniform on a particular day a note of explanation is required. The appearance and behaviour of our students speaks of their pride at St Bernard's. All students are expected to follow the St Bernard's uniform policy.
St Bernard’s observes the NO HAT ~ NO PLAY sun safe practice.
SUMMER/WINTER UNIFORM CHANGEOVER
Summer uniform should be worn during Terms 1 and 4. Winter uniform should be worn in Terms 2 and 3 ~ commencing the long weekend in June. Parents are advised to use their discretion where there is a likelihood of extreme heat or cold weather.
The St Bernard’s sports jumper can be purchased through the Front Office.
JEWELLERY
Jewellery is restricted to the wearing of a wristwatch, religious medal with chain, signet ring, sleepers or studs for pierced ears with no more than one earring in either or both ears.
HAIR/ MAKE – UP
Hair is to be clean, neat and tidy at all times. Hair is to be off the face ie. fastened back with a clip or hair tie, with longer hair tied back at all times. Mullets, mohawks and patterned shaving are not permitted as hairstyles. The wearing of make–up and/or nail polish is not permitted.
