Homework is an element of the teaching and learning process. It can help consolidate the work taught in class and develop sound study habits.

At St Bernard’s School homework:

Parents are encouraged to read with their child/ren and talk over the day’s learning experiences which helps consolidate what has occurred in the class. If possible play some card or board games with your child/ren as these are a fun way to consolidate counting and number facts. Sharing a book helps to model reading as well as providing a special time together at the end of the day.
